Featuring a substantial 10-inch wine-glass body, this skimmer utilizes a recirculating design where the VarioS-6S DC pump focuses entirely on mixing air and water within the reaction chamber. By using a separate feed pump (sold separately) to move water through the skimmer, users can perfectly tune the dwell time, ensuring that even the most stubborn organic compounds are efficiently removed.

The Regal 250-EXT is built for the aquarist who demands both massive processing power and external versatility. Its out-of-sump configuration is ideal for systems where internal sump space is restricted or where a dedicated filtration room is utilized. The included VarioS controller provides digital speed adjustment and features a waterproof connection for the integrated safety float switch—a critical safeguard for external units to prevent collection cup overflows.
