Maine Coon Purchase Terms

Please read these terms before reserving a Maine Coon. By making your first payment you agree to them. Questions? Call or text (769) 242-1050.

1. How our Maine Coons are sourced

Our Maine Coon kittens and cats come from partner breeders and travel to our store in Picayune, MS after you reserve. Photos, ages, colors and health information on each listing are provided by the breeder. Ages are approximate as of the date shown, and a kitten's coat color and markings can change as it matures.

2. Applying and approval

Every buyer must apply before paying. We may decline any application. Submitting an application does not hold a kitten; only a paid reservation does.

3. Payment schedule

  • Reservation (25%) — holds your kitten for you.
  • Before the flight (25% + $1,250 travel) — due within 3 days of us confirming the travel date.
  • At pickup (50%) — due in full before you take your kitten home.

All listed prices include travel to our Picayune store. They do not include delivery to your home, supplies, or veterinary care after pickup.

4. Deposits and refunds

  • The reservation payment is non-refundable once paid, because we use it to secure your kitten with the breeder.
  • The second payment is non-refundable once the kitten's travel is booked.
  • If we are unable to deliver your kitten for reasons on our or the breeder's side (for example, the kitten becomes ill or cannot travel), you may choose a comparable kitten or receive a refund of the amounts you have paid.
  • If a payment is more than 7 days late after we contact you, the reservation may be cancelled and payments already made are forfeited.

5. Travel and timing

Travel dates are estimates. Airline schedules, weather, paperwork and the kitten's health can cause delays outside our control. We will keep you updated, and a delay alone is not grounds for a refund.

6. Pickup

We will call you when your kitten arrives. Please pick up within 3 days. After that, a boarding fee of $25 per day applies, and kittens not picked up within 14 days of arrival are considered abandoned and all payments are forfeited.

7. Health

  • Health and genetic testing information is as reported by the breeder. Copies of available records are provided at pickup.
  • 72-hour health check: please have your kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup. If the vet finds a serious contagious illness or condition that was present at pickup, contact us with the written vet report within that 72 hours and we will offer a replacement kitten of equal value or a refund of the purchase price (travel cost excluded) once the kitten is returned.
  • 1-year genetic guarantee: if a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening hereditary condition (such as HCM, SMA or PKdef) within 12 months of pickup, we will provide a replacement kitten of equal value when one is available, with written proof from the vet. Travel for the replacement is the buyer's cost.
  • Guarantees do not cover minor, treatable conditions common to young kittens (such as parasites, ear mites, upper respiratory infections or stress-related stomach upset), vet bills, or illness or injury caused by care, environment or other animals after pickup.

8. Pet homes and breeding rights

Kittens sold as pets are for companionship only and must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age (or within 30 days of pickup if older). Any registration papers provided for pet kittens are marked pet/no breeding. Kittens sold with breeding rights include full registration and pedigree papers as provided by the breeder.

9. Changes

Prices and availability may change until a kitten is reserved. These terms may be updated; the version in effect when you make your first payment applies to your purchase.
