- Offer SnailStixx on a hard substrate, stone, or feeding dish. Snails rasp food from hard surfaces — this is their natural feeding behavior. Placing the stick on a flat stone or in a feeding bowl makes it easy for snails to locate and graze efficiently and simplifies removal of uneaten portions.
- Calcium availability in the water column also affects shell quality. SnailStixx provides dietary calcium, but snails also absorb calcium directly from the water through their mantle. If shell pitting or erosion persists despite consistent SnailStixx feeding, test your water hardness and consider a mineral supplement to raise GH alongside dietary support.
