All-in-One Aquarium Controller with Dosing, pH/ORP, and Salinity Monitoring
The HYDROS Control X10 is the most complete controller in the HYDROS lineup, combining four independent stepper dosing pumps with a pH/ORP probe port, a salinity probe port, and four sense ports in one IP65-rated unit. It works well in saltwater tanks, freshwater tanks, and ponds, and it can run on its own or link into a larger HYDROS setup as your system grows.
With the Control X10, one controller can dose two-part solutions, trace elements, or alkalinity test reagents, track pH or ORP in real time, and monitor temperature, TDS, flow, or leaks through its sense ports. Add a salinity probe and HYDROS iV, and it can track salinity too. All HYDROS products are engineered, assembled, and supported in the USA.
Key Features:
- Four independent stepper dosing pumps rated from -100 to 100 mL/min
- Digitally isolated pH/ORP probe port for accurate, interference-free readings
- Salinity probe port for conductivity-based salinity monitoring (probe sold separately)
- Four sense ports for temperature, fluid level, leak detection, flow rate, and TDS
- Two drive ports delivering up to 1.5A each for ATO pumps, fans, and solenoids
- Two Command Bus ports for wired links to other HYDROS controllers
- Dual-core 32-bit processor for fast, on-device control decisions
- IP65-rated, splash-proof, dust-proof housing with aircraft-style connectors
Ideal For:
- Advanced reef keepers who want dosing, pH/ORP, and salinity monitoring from one controller
- Hobbyists consolidating multiple single-purpose controllers into a single HYDROS system
- Anyone running alkalinity testing routines that rely on precise, repeatable dosing
Pro Tips:
- Mount the Control X10 vertically before powering it on. Like other HYDROS dosing controllers, it's designed to hang on a wall or side panel, not sit flat, so calibration holds steady over time.
- Add a HYDROS iV before connecting a pH or ORP probe long-term. The isolated testing vessel keeps the probe's readings free of electrical interference from other equipment sharing the tank.
- Recalibrate your pH probe on a regular schedule. Probes drift over time, and the included calibration solutions only stay accurate for one calibration cycle after opening.
Example Setup A: Alkalinity and Salinity Monitoring
Example Setup B: Balling Method Dosing with Salinity Measurement
